What we offer
We provide personalised astrology and human design readings for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Each reading is prepared by us based on the birth details you provide, and delivered as a PDF or voice note — whichever you choose at booking.
Readings are accompanied by self-study materials and our curated resource pack, as described on our website at the time of booking.
Booking and payment
Full payment is taken at the time of booking, through Squarespace.
We begin work on your reading once we have received both payment and the birth details and any background information we need from you.
Once we have started preparing your reading, it is non-refundable. See “Your right to cancel” below for what this means in practice.
Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
Under UK consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase of services without giving a reason. However, because we begin preparing your reading promptly after booking — often within days — this right ends early once we start work, provided you have asked us to begin and acknowledged this at the point of booking.
In practice, this means:
If you cancel before we have started preparing your reading, you are entitled to a full refund.
If you cancel after we have started preparing your reading (which you will have agreed to at checkout), no refund is available for the work already carried out.
This section reflects our intended approach. The checkout process should ask you to explicitly confirm that you want us to begin work straightaway and understand this affects your cancellation rights — if this confirmation step isn't currently part of booking, please let us know before relying on this clause.
Birth details and accuracy
Your reading is built entirely from the birth details you give us: date, time, and place of birth, for yourself and for anyone else included in a couple, family, or group reading. The accuracy of your reading depends on the accuracy of this information.
If you're not sure of an exact birth time, tell us — we can still work with what's available and will let you know how this affects the reading.
If you later discover that birth details you gave us were incorrect (for example, the wrong time or location), we're happy to redo the affected parts of the reading. Because this involves re-preparing work already completed, a fee applies.
We are not responsible for inaccuracies in a reading that result from incorrect information you provided to us.
Family and group readings
Where you book a reading on behalf of other people — a partner, family member, friend, or child — you confirm that you have their agreement (or, for a child, that you are their parent or guardian) to share their birth details with us for this purpose.

Delivery
We aim to deliver your reading within one week of receiving everything we need from you: payment, birth details, and answers to any questions we ask to prepare your reading properly. This timeframe starts once all of this has been received, not at the point of booking.
If we anticipate a delay beyond this, we'll let you know.
What our readings are, and aren't
Our readings are intended to offer insight, reflection, and a way of understanding yourself and your relationships through astrology and human design. They are not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice in any of these areas.
If you are dealing with a medical, mental health, financial, or legal matter, please consult a qualified professional. Nothing in a reading from us is intended to diagnose, treat, or advise on any such matter.
Self-study materials and resource pack
The ebooks and resource pack provided alongside your reading are for your personal use. They are not to be copied, redistributed, or shared beyond your own household or the group included in your reading, without our permission.
Intellectual property
The content of your reading, our ebooks, and our resource pack are the copyright of Poppy and Ellie Ltd. You're welcome to use your own reading for your personal reference, but it should not be reproduced, sold, or passed on to others without our agreement.
Limitation of liability
We take care to prepare every reading thoughtfully and accurately based on the information you give us. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decisions you make, or outcomes you experience, as a result of acting on your reading. Readings are offered for reflection and insight, not as instruction or guarantee.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Complaints
If something about your reading or your experience with us hasn't met your expectations, please tell us. Email hello@poppyandellie.com and we'll do our best to put it right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on our website at the time you book.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
